1 Subscriptions

1.1 You MUST create a new subscription when resources have a new invoice recipient, now or in the future.
1.2 You MUST create a new subscription for separating resources in different hosting environments, Azure Regions, clients or projects.
1.3 Subscriptions MUST follow the Azure Naming Convention.
2 Resource Groups
Considerations for creating a new Azure resource group for your resources.
2.1 You MUST create a new resource group for resources belonging to a new project.
2.2 You MUST create a new resource group for resources belonging to a new component.
2.3 You MUST gather resources sharing the same life-cycle, in the same resource group.
2.4 Resource groups MUST NOT be shared between projects, components or environments.
2.5 Resource group names MUST follow the Azure Naming Convention.
